Panel Memberships
Bytecode presently provides contractors to a number of Australian Government departments. We are on the main DHS Government panel which services many of the major departments in Canberra. You can find a current list of our panel memberships by browsing to the bottom of this where all the agency names are listed.
Rates and Taxes
We’re just a small recruitment agency so our overheads are just insurances. We charge $5/hr which covers getting a job for you (application and panel requirements), negotiating your pay increases, and bankrolling your pay each month, plus the odd Bytecode event. Pay cycles are on the 7th of every month on signed timesheet. We pay you straight away, and collect from the client 30-60 days after that.
Payroll, Taxation and Super Management
We don’t handle payroll/taxation/super. You’re welcome to do this through your own company or we are happy to recommend a few local payroll suppliers who will handle all the time-intensive stuff like salary sacrificing, custom super arrangements, bizarre tax arrangements, for very small fees.
